Maia's Playdate with Ernie

Hi everyone!  Who among you love Ernie from the children's show, Sesame Street?

I remember when I was a little girl, I used to prefer Bert over Ernie.  I used to think how unfair it was that Ernie always put one over Bert.  Ernie was never consistent...he was sometimes naughty but, at times, sweet.

My Maia seems to like him though.  She especially likes his unique snicker.

You want to know what happened during one of their playdates?  Look below... :D

See Maia:

try to sing the beginning of the "Rubber Duckie" song;

kiss her stuffed Ernie toy;

get mesmerized;

and finally snicker like Ernie :D

Maia continued to watch her Sesame Street home video, while holding on tightly to Ernie...

When the video was over, she left Ernie to his lonesome...

but made sure to put him on the chair that Daddy built using her giant Mega Bloks :D
